Monika Kozdrowiecka’s healthy lifestyle started on the Wroclaw, Poland farm where her grandmother lived. “I did not know it at the time, but her farm became a life-long school of nutrition,” Kozdrowiecka says. “It developed in me an enduring lifestyle of health, balance and wellness.”

That healthy lifestyle carried over to Kozdrowiecka’s adopted home of Southern California. Her company, Virgin Raw Foods, developed Bee Panacea, an infused honey dietary supplement. Bee Panacea is sold in natural food stores across the United States and around the world.

My successes. 

“[Han’s] guidance accelerated my projected growth and profitability,” Kozdrowiecka says. “We were able to hire an office manager, a national sales manager, and a business consultant to work on merchandising, marketing, packaging, margins and projections.”

How SCORE helped. 

Kozdrowiecka attended workshops on legal entities, sales, and patents as she developed her business. Mentor Jin Han helped her establish profit margins, with sales and office structures. He even visited the office to help train Kozdrowiecka’s staff.

The pair met on a weekly basis while implementing plans for Virgin Raw Foods, and later scaled back to monthly meetings.
