Sherri was the General Manager of Business Operations for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging business. MRI is a $5B global industry within the healthcare industry. Compared with CT or X-Ray, MRI uses no ionizing radiation to product high-resolution images of the human body to aid in the diagnosis of disease and treatment monitoring of patients. The GE Healthcare MR business designs, builds, distributes, and services MRI imaging equipment for the global healthcare markets spanning North & South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Sherri was previously the General Manager of Installation Services leading a ~200-person organization in the siting, design and Installation of Diagnostic Imaging and Medical Device Equipment for Hospitals, Physician Offices and Out Patient Centers across the United States & Canada. Her business converted sales into revenue through customer involvement and project management of >10,000 installations per year.
Sherri joined the General Electric Aircraft Engine’s Supply Chain Division in 1985. She held multiple positions which included – Process Control Engineer, Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer. In 1993, Sherri was promoted to Business Team Leader for Fabrication & Composite Manufacturing. In 1994, she became Manager of Shop Operations for high technology components in Wilmington, NC. In 1996, she joined the General Electric Aircraft Engine’s Customer Support Division as the Director of Technical Data & Publications for the Global Commercial Airline Business. Sherri led the conversion of all product documentation from paper to an interactive digital media that is delivered to Airline customers worldwide.
Sherri holds a Manufacturing Engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati, and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University. Sherri is also a certified Master Black Belt and a Lean Practitioner trained by the Japanese Shingijitsu organization. She became EDGE certified in 2013 through GEHC’s GE Advantage program. Sherri was a Co-Leader for GE’s Milwaukee Hub Woman’s Network from 2008-2009. She was a GE Women’s Network National Leader for a $50M dollar; 5 year Developing Health Program to increase access to primary care for underserved communities across the United States. For 5 years she held the GE Women’s Network relationship with the Medical College of Wisconsin holding joint Women’s events.
Sherri has served on the Bottomless Closet Board of Directors, the Women & Girls Fund Board of Trustees for Waukesha County, is currently on the Ten Chimneys Board of Directors and recently joined the Wildlife Conservation Board at Runaway Creek in Belize and Board of Directors for Make a Wish Wisconsin.
